1. What can I look for assurance that the products are legitimate?
The two most obvious things to look for on your platinum jewelry are the karat stamp (Pt or Platinum with a number usually 900 or 950 representing the purity of the alloy) together with the manufacturer’s trademark. There are exceptions to this rule, but it is a good starting point. There may be additional information present as well. This combined with the reputation of YourPlatinumSmith and the manufacturer’s written warranty and/or certificate of authenticity (which comes with every one of my pieces) are a very good indication that your purchase will last, with the proper care, for generations to come.
2. How do I qualify for Free Shipping?
All you have to do is at ‘Check-Out’, select the ‘Free Shipping’ option. You will be notified that your purchase is ready and you will be able to come to our Shop and pick it up3. What if I want to return my purchase?

4. What if my jewelry needs servicing?
We strongly urge you to contact YourPlatinumSmith.com jeweler. Most service issues will be handled quickly, personally and at a minimal cost. 5. How fast will items be ready?
Typically, items will be ready and shipped within 48 to 72 hours, unless it is a special order, or requires sizing or altering in some manner.
6. Can I get an item in white gold or yellow gold? How long will it take?

7. What kind of warranty is there?

8. What is the diamond quality used in the products on YourPlatinumSmith.com?
All the diamonds available on YourPlatinumSmith.com come directly from Major Diamond Trading Companies. They are cut and polished in the most modern facilities by Master Cutters and are Conflict Free. As products are added to the website, different items will have different diamond qualities depending on the category of product. 9. Is there a Certificate of Authenticity with each item.>
Yes. Each item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity . The Certificate of Authenticity will have:
- Your name and address
- The item number and a picture
- The purchase price and description
- Outlines the warranty
- When purchasing Certified Diamonds or other Stones individual certificates will also come with the Purchase.
10. Where is the jewelry manufactured?
Our primary Supplier's factory is located in LaFayette, LA. Custom pieces and most of the stone setting is done right here in our Alaska Shop.

We further guarantee that these diamonds are conflict free, based on our personal knowledge, and the written guarantee provided by our Diamond Suppliers.
13. What is “dirty gold” and is it used in the manufacture of this diamond jewelry?
All the Platinum and Gold used in the production of jewelry sold on and through YourPlatinumSmith.com is obtained through commercial banks and other legitimate Precious Metal Dealers in the U.S..
